We provide evaluation planning and data analysis services to government and nonprofit organizations. We design practical, right-sized evaluations including budgets, timelines, measurement instruments and analysis plans. These services are described in greater detail below:
PHASE 1: EVALUATION SERVICES
GoodMeasure provides professional start-to-finish evaluation services tailored to meet your organization’s needs.
- A program logic model
- Stakeholder analysis
- A program evaluation process model, utilizing qualitative and/or quantitative data in one of the following areas: needs assessment, process evaluation, outcome evaluation, or efficiency valuation
- Instructions for data collection and analysis including sampling methodology, if appropriate
- Data collection tools including surveys, focus group questions, etc.
- A detailed timeline and budget
- An evaluation management plan
- All projects include a presentation, written report, and electronic copies of all documents.

REQUIREMENTS
To qualify, community partners must:
- Be a public or nonprofit organization, or a private organization interested in evaluating their charitable works.
- Be committed to working with student consultants to develop a meaningful evaluation plan with a clear audience and purpose in mind.
- Assign a program representative who is available to regularly meet with students, provide necessary program information, and coordinate meetings.
PHASE 2: DATA COLLECTION
Paid interns are available for hire to assist in data collection, or organizations can utilize their own resources to implement the data collection protocol developed in Phase 1. Organizations who have completed Phase 1 have priority status for Phase 3 selection, regardless of the time-frame needed for data collection to occur in Phase 2.
PHASE 3: DATA ANALYSIS
GoodMeasure provides professional statistical analysis services tailored to meet your organization’s needs. Student consultants utilize free software, including R-Studio, which utilizes syntax highlighting,
code completion, and smart indentation. Additionally, R-Studio can quickly jump to function definitions for replication purposes.
- Consultation on whether or not your data set meets project requirements.
- Data cleaning, including notes and a copy of the final clean database for replication purposes.
- A data analysis report and codebook
- Analysis of correlations between variables of interest
- Full multivariate models predicting one or more outcome variables
- Recommendations for future data collection and analysis
- A summary of key findings and their relevance to organizational goals.
- All projects include a presentation, written report, video documentation of the final report, and electronic copies of all documents.
